Description
Maarc Calcium Hydroxide Powder is a highly effective material designed for various endodontic and restorative procedures. This fine powder, when mixed with physiological saline to form a paste, exhibits a strong alkaline nature with a pH of approximately 12.5, making it ideal for hard tissue induction and pulp therapy. Upon application, it induces necrosis of the superficial coronal pulp tissue while stimulating the underlying healthy pulp to initiate reparative dentin formation. It serves excellently for temporary root canal filling, pulp capping, and pulp protection, ensuring insulation and protection of the vital pulp from infections and further decay. Its high alkalinity provides antibacterial action and promotes healing by maintaining a sterile environment. The paste can be easily delivered to the root apex, providing effective sealing and insulation in deep cavities.
